Farm life has always been oddly popular subject in casino slots and Play’n GOs newest release is an addition to this theme. Animal Madness is a silly and humorous take on the farm theme, playing out on 5×5 sized grid with wins being paid out from symbol clusters.

 

Overview

The backbone and main mechanic of the game comes with the Sunflower meter seen on the left side of your playarea. Wins are paid from symbol clusters of 4+ symbols, but the game also uses a cascading wins mechanic where the Sunflower absorbs the winning symbols to increase its meter while new symbols are being dropped in on your game area to replace the old ones.

The cascades can keep going on as long as you create new cluster wins with the newly dropped symbols. Once enough cascades have happened consecutively, the Sunflower meter which is counting your cascades, will trigger special modifiers as following:

Wild Chickens (3 consecutive cascades): Randomly adds three Chicken Wild symbols sized 1×2 on your playarea
Wild Goat (6 consecutive cascades): Randomly adds one Goat Wild symbol sized 2×3 on your playarea
Wild Sheep (9 consecutive cascades): Randomly adds two Sheel Wild symbols sized 2×2 on your playarea
Wild Cow (12 consecutive cascades): Randomly adds one Cow Wild symbol sized 3×3 on your playarea

Additionally the game has a special feature called Rabbit Mayhem, which can randomly trigger after a losing spin. When this happens, random amount of symbols will be removed from your playarea, creating a cascade and giving a Chanz for fresh new symbols to drop in and potentially create a win. Bit like a free re-spin.

 

Chanz verdict

We enjoyed Animal Madness a lot! The theme works nicely here and its fun to watch the animals waking up to a new day while you rack in cascades and hopefully some nice wins with them. The cluster pays together with the symbol cascades manage to keep things interesting and it feels like there is constantly something exciting happening on your screen.
