Thunderkick has unleashed the third beast on their popular Beat the Beast series, which is
planned to include total of five games. In case you haven’t tamed the previous beasts yet,
the first game was called Kraken’s Lair and the second one Mighty Sphinx – you can find
and test both of these at Chanz.com of course!

Basics

This time we are facing Cerberus, the three-headed hound of Hades, which guards the
gates of the underworld in Greek mythology. The game layout in the base game has been
kept same as on the previous games; 5 reels, 3 rows and 9 paylines. Stakes on this game
should be suitable for everyone, as they start from as low as 0.10€/1kr per spin.

Other than that, we could simply describe the theme of the game as scorching hot. The
color scheme of the game is fiery red and the background illustrates the mythical
underworld, Hades. Like the previous games in the series this beast is highly volatile, but
that in turn gives the potential to hit some really big wins as well. The maximum win is
6,666x your bet, which suits the general theme of the game quite aptly.

Features

Cerberus’ Inferno is not exactly filled with new and exciting features and the main features
of the game rely heavily on the wild symbols, which there are two of different kinds. The
first wild symbol appears only as stacked covering the whole second wheel.

The second wild symbol is called Golden Cerberus Emblem and it has two functions. First
of all it acts as a regular wild substituting any other symbol on a win combination, but it
also works as a scatter symbol. This means that 3, 4 or 5 of these symbols will launch the
free spin feature granting you 10 free spins along with win of 2x, 20x or 200x your stake
depending on the amount of scatters.

During the free spin feature there is no longer 9 fixed paylines like in the base game, but
243 ways to win. Other than that it works exactly as base game and you can also re-trigger
the free spins if you get 3 or more scatters again.

Chanz verdict

All in all we think that this is simply just a solid game. It’s bit like an old but reliable
guardian dog – does what it’s expected to do and does it well, but don’t expect it to learn
any new tricks.

If you liked the previous games there is absolutely no reason why you wouldn’t enjoy this
one as well. And if you haven’t tried any of the games in Thunderkick’s Beat the Beast –
series yet, this one is a good pick as your first battle. Try it already today at Chanz.com!
