Cats were considered to be truly magical creatures in Ancient Egypt, but what if they quite literally ruled the whole place? That is what Pragmatic Play’s adorable Cleocatra is all about, as some of you might have already guessed from the playful name-mashup where Cleopatra and Cats are cleverly combined!

 

Overview

If you have been playing online casino slots for a while already, you have most likely also seen a game or two with the Ancient Egypt -theme. It seems to be one of those themes that just never goes out of fashion, but we are glad to see that Pragmatic Play has put some extra thought to it with their own twist.

Actual game mechanics are quite typical though, as there are five reels and four rows, creating a total of 40 winlines for you. The different Cat characters are the premium symbols in this game and there is also a Wild symbol, which always comes with a win multiplier of either 2x or 3x. If you land multiple Wilds in the same winning combination, the multipliers are also added together. However, the Pyramid Wild can only land on reels 2-5 so you will never see it on the first reel.

But there is something special about the first reel too, as it can trigger a Respin feature for you! This happens when one of the premium Cat character symbols fills the whole first reel. This stack of symbols is then stickied to your first reel, along with any other matching Cat symbols in the other reels – and rest of the symbols will be spun again. This goes on until you hit a win with the respin.

Lastly there is also a Free Spin feature, which is triggered with 3-5 Paw Scatters. This will give you either 8, 12 or 16 free spins depending on the amount of Scatters you landed. The Free Spin feature works otherwise exactly the same as the base game, but here any Pyramid Wilds will be stickied on the position it lands until the end of the feature, and if you land the first reel full of the same Cat character, this will give you +2 free spins instead of the respin like it would in the base game.

Overall we feel like Pragmatic Play did really well with this title. They chose a very popular theme for the game, but also made it distinctively their own in an adorable way.
