Overview
Densho transports players to a serene Japanese setting, featuring five reels and four rows with a total of 10 paylines. The symbols range from traditional Japanese characters to other iconic imagery often seen in Japanese art such as a Bridge, Crane, Owl, Geisha, and Samurai symbols. The game also has a Wild symbol which is represented by the Mountains, and it works just as you would expect wild symbol to work, replacing any other normal symbol on your reels, possibly helping you get more symbols connected bringing in those nice wins.
The main feature of the game is however another type of a Wild symbol, called the Densho Wild, which is represented by a Raven. The Densho Wild symbols also have either one, two or three dots under the Raven image, representing the three different levels, or rarities, they can come in. Each step-up in rarity also brings bigger win multipliers with it. All of the different Densho Wilds expand to fill the whole reel they landed on to, but only if the expanded Wild would also create a win for you. Here are the three different levels of Densho Wilds that are available;
Common Densho: win multiplier of 2x-10x
Rare Densho: win multiplier of 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x or 50x
Legendary Densho: win multiplier of 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 100x
The game also has a Free Spin feature, which is triggered by landing three Koi Fish Scatter symbols anywhere on your reels. The feature starts with 10 free spins and works exactly like the base game does, except now there is also a three-level progression meter above each of your reels. You can increase the levels by landing special symbols on your reels represented by a Plus sign, and the level dictates what rarity of Densho Wild symbols can land on the reel below the meter. So for example when you upgrade your reel level from the first level to the second, then Common Densho Wilds can no longer land there and you only see either Rare or Legendary Densho Wilds. Upgrading the meter all the way would mean that only Legendary Densho Wilds are shown on the reel. Additionally there is a so called Super Free Spins feature, which is triggered by landing four Koi Fish Scatter symbols instead of three. The only difference compared to the normal Free Spin feature is that with Super Free Spins the progression meters above your reels all start from level two.
