It’s Halloween week, and the lab lights are flickering again — a sure sign that Frightening Frankie is waking up! Pragmatic Play has stitched together a spooky slot, where bubbling test tubes, crackling lightning, and creepy experiments keep the reels alive. Let’s take a closer look at what’s hiding in the lab.
Overview
In Frightening Frankie slot, you’ll step into a eerie workshop, where a 5×3 grid packed with 20 paylines sets the stage for what’s ahead. The game’s average RTP sits at 95.53%, volatility is high, and the maximum win reaches up to 2,800x your stake.
Key Features
Lightning Free Spins
When a Lightning symbol lands, it zaps the reels into life, triggering the Lightning Free Spins feature. You’ll receive 2–6 free spins, and each Lightning symbol removes one of the lowest-paying symbols from the grid. This makes room for better payouts as weaker icons vanish.
The feature can be retriggered each time new Lightning symbols appear, granting more spins and removing up to five low-paying symbols in total. Once five have been eliminated, the experiment stabilizes, no more Lightning symbols appear during that round.
Monster Trail Free Spins
If you manage to hit three or more scatter symbols during the Lightning bonus, the game evolves into Monster Trail Free Spins. The transition feels seamless, any remaining Lightning spins carry over, but now every win enjoys a 2x multiplier.
During this feature, Test Tube symbols appear. Each collected tube fills a meter. Once seven are gathered, you earn 10 additional free spins and a random multiplier up to 10x. As the round progresses, it’s possible to chain retriggers.
Feature Bet
If patience isn’t your strong suit, you can use the Buy Free Spins option to jump straight into the Monster Trail Free Spins for 100x your total bet.
Chanz Verdict
Frightening Frankie is a fun creation that blends classic monster-movie energy with a pair of smartly connected bonus rounds. The Lightning and Monster Trail features keep things moving and drive the action forward as symbols drop away and multipliers grow.
It’s not the most electrifying slot Pragmatic Play has ever released, but it does enough to keep players curious about what’s next.
