Midas is back—and he’s not done chasing treasures. Thunderkick’s Midas Golden Touch 3 gives the golden legend a fresh spin, with some new features, exciting multipliers, and just enough sparkle. All that glitters might not be gold, but there’s still a lot to like on the way. Let’s have a closer look.
Overview
Midas Golden Touch 3 is a 5-reel, 3-row video slot with 15 fixed paylines. It’s shiny, it’s smooth, and it brings high volatility excitement with every spin. This game lets you bet from €0.10 to €100 per spin, and the RTP sits at 94.16%, with feature buy modes slightly bumping that up depending on your choice. The crown jewel? A maximum payout of 15,000x your bet. That’s some serious Midas magic.
Key Features
Wild Payline Multipliers
Wilds substitute for all symbols except Scatters and bring a golden boost to your line wins. Any payline including a Wild symbol will have a multiplier based on the number of wilds included:
- 1 Wild = x2 multiplier
- 2 Wilds = x4 multiplier
- 3 Wilds = x8 multiplier
- 4 Wilds = x16 multiplier
- 5 Wilds = a whopping x32 multiplier
Gift of Midas
In the base game, the king himself might step in. The Gift of Midas adds 1 to 5 Wilds or Scatters onto your reels—completely at random. It doesn’t show up in the Bonus Game, but when it hits, it’s pure gold.
Bonus Game with Sticky Respins
Trigger the bonus by landing 3 or more Scatters and you’ll start with 5 Free Spins. But things escalate fast:
- Wins activate Sticky Respins, locking winning symbols and spinning the rest.
- An Epic Wild Multiplier appears on reels 2–4. It starts at x2, x5, or x10 based on how many Scatters triggered your bonus game.
- Power Recharge increases the multiplier by +1 and adds 2 more Free Spins after each respin sequence (up to 5).
- Retrigger Boost kicks in when you collect 3+ Scatters during Free Spins—resetting your spins and adding a multiplier boost of x3, x5, or x8!
Feature Buys and BET+ Modes
Can’t wait to see Midas at work? You can buy your way into the Bonus Game and enjoy 3+ Scatters Bonus for 100x the bet, 4+ Scatters Bonus for 150x the bet, and 5 Scatters Bonus for 250x the bet.
Or activate BET+ modes:
- Bonus Boost: 2x more likely to trigger the bonus game, costs 1.5x your bet
- Bonus Boost Plus: 5x more likely to trigger the bonus game, costs 3x your bet
- Gift of Midas Mode: Guarantees the Gift of Midas trigger on every spin, for 30x your base bet
Chanz Verdict
Midas Golden Touch 3 might not shine quite as brightly as the original, but it still holds its own in the golden lineup. The game packs in enough action to keep things interesting, especially with its dynamic multiplier mechanics and bonus features that build up the tension. The high volatility won’t be for everyone, but if you’re a fan of slots with solid win potential, this one’s worth a few spins. Just don’t expect everything to turn to gold—sometimes a little glimmer is good enough.
