Viva Las Vegs! Or maybe rather… What Did the Fox Say? Well, both of these quite iconic phrases work very well with Red Tiger’s brand new slot What The Fox Megaways, which was just released today!
Overview
What the Fox Megaways is set in Las Vegas’ famous Strip with fancy cars, shining neon-signs and gorgeous five star casino-hotels creating the backdrop for your reels. There is total of 6 reels in the game and thanks to the Megaways -game mechanic, you can get up to 117,649 winlines. The win potential is also right up there in the “big win leagues”, as the maximum win you can get from the slot is pretty massive at 10,474x your stake.
If you have played any other Megaways-titles you are probably very familiar with the main features of the game. There is the Cascading Wins -feature, which means that when you hit a win all the winnings symbols will be removed from your playarea to make room for a new symbols to drop in – and this goes on until there is no more new wins generated with the new dropping symbols.
Mr Foxter is the main character of the game and plays a big role here, as he has the honor of being the wild-symbol. He can land on your reels either partially or fully stacked, and when he does land in fully covering the whole reel he says “Yeah” – so I guess we finally got a proper answer to the question of What the Fox Says! Fully stacked wild will also trigger a feature called Wily Wilds, giving you multiplier value up to 7x on your wins. You can land up to three fully stacked wilds on your reels at once and when you land more than one that are part of the same winning combination, their multipliers will be multiplied together, meaning that you can get 7x7x7 = 343x win multiplier from wild symbols alone!
But that is not all of Mr Foxter’s duties, as he also runs a bonus wheel called Foxy Spin Bonus Wheel, which you can trigger by landing three scatter symbols anywhere on your reels in the same spin. Spin of the wheel determines the amount of spins you get in the Free Spin feature and also a starting win multiplier during them. These range between 5-20 free spins and 2x-10x multiplier. During the feature you will increase the win multiplier by one with every single win and there is no upper limit. You can also get more free spins by landing more scatter symbols, each scatter giving you one more spin – and again, without maximum limit during the feature.
Chanz verdict
This is a great game for those who enjoy Megaways-titles and we especially appreciated the multiplying wild multipliers, which can create pretty nice wins during your normal base game without any bonus rounds or additional features. However, other than that, there is nothing really ground-breaking or super innovative in this slot – but it is great at what it is trying to be, and that is a good, solid Megaways game, with a nice theme and a super cool Fox character to keep you entertained!
