After being active for over 40 years and having sold over 100 million albums worldwide, Mötley Crüe has definitely cemented their name as one of the most successful heavy metal bands of all time… And now Play’n GO brings this iconic band to casinos with the latest release in their popular Rock Series of slots.

 

Overview

The game is built on five reels with four rows on each of them, creating a total of 20 fixed winlines for you. The premium symbols are depicted with the band members of course, so from those you will find the portraits of Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil. There are three different randomly triggering features in the base game and they are named after the bands hit songs – which you will get to listen and enjoy during the game as well.

First of these random features is called Wild Side Respins and it can randomly trigger only after a spin where there was no win included. Once the feature is triggered the Wild Side bar on the right of your reels fills the last reel with Wild symbols and you will get a respin. If there is still no win, you will get another respin and again the Wild Side bar moves to left now filling your fourth reel with Wild symbols as well. This will continue until you hit a win so it is possible that you end up filling reels 2-5 completely with Wilds before hitting it big time.

Live Wire is the name of the second random feature and that can trigger randomly after any spin, but not on a spin where the Wild Side feature is already active. When the Live Wire is triggered you will get up to five Wild symbols randomly added on your reels.

Third random feature is the Girls, Girls, Girls feature and again this can be triggered on any spin where there is at least one Girl symbol landing on your reels, except when the Wild Side feature is already active. The feature adds more Girl symbols on your three middlemost reels so on reels #2, #3 and #4 and these symbols come with a win multiplier included.

Finally there is also a Free Spin feature included in this slot and that can be activated by landing total of three Pentagram Scatter symbols on your reels #1, #3 and #5. This will award you with 6-10 free spins and during the whole Free Spin feature both the Live Wire and Girls, Girls, Girls features from the base game will be active on every spin. However, if you happen to land a non-winning spin during the Free Spin feature that will always activate the Wild Side feature and just like during the base game, the other features will not be active at the same time.

We think that the Rock Series of slots from Play’n GO is overall one of the greatest themed game series there is out there, and this newest release does not disappoint either. The slot just feels very polished from all aspects of it, all the way from the graphics to the awesome soundtrack provided by the band itself. The gameplay is really fun as well and the various randomly triggering features manage to keep the excitement up even during the base game grind which could otherwise often get a bit boring after a while.
